On the occasion of Great Victory Day 2025, a reception program was organized in honor of retired police freedom fighters at the Drill Shed of Gazipur Police Lines. Md. Israil Howlader, Commissioner of Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP), attended the event and presented floral greetings and gift items to the family members of retired police freedom fighters. He was accompanied by Md. Sharif Uddin, Superintendent of Police, Gazipur.

At the beginning of his speech at the meeting, Superintendent of Police Md. Sharif Uddin paid deep respect to the brave freedom fighters, the best sons of the nation, and prayed for the forgiveness of their souls.
