Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus met the family of Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inqilab Manch and potential independent candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency.
Osman Hadi’s brother Abu Bakr Siddique, sister Masuma and three leaders of Inqilab Manch Abdullah Al Jaber, Fatima Tasnim Juma and Md. Borhan Uddin met the Chief Adviser at the State Guest House Jamuna this Saturday (13 December 2025) morning.

Stating that the government is taking all measures to ensure the best treatment for Osman Hadi, the Chief Adviser said, ‘The whole country is praying for him. Everyone is trying to ensure his best treatment. If he has to be sent outside the country considering his physical condition, the government will arrange for his treatment wherever it is necessary to send him.’

Osman Hadi’s sister said, ‘He loved the country wholeheartedly since childhood. He has been a revolutionary since childhood. Rebel poetry is his favorite, he loved to recite rebel poetry. He has a 10-month-old child. Hadi is our backbone.
‘He has a lot of work, he has to survive. You, the revolutionary government, must keep the July revolutionaries alive at all costs. Otherwise, the independence and sovereignty of this country will be threatened,’ she said.
Demanding the arrest of the criminal as soon as possible, Inqilab Mancha leader Jaber said, ‘After August 5, many people returned home, but Osman Hadi did not return home. He embraced the July revolution and worked day and night for the July revolution. I hear the boy who shot was arrested in a case, investigate the process by which he got bail.’
Fatema Tasnim Juma has demanded that the government take action to ensure the overall security of the July fighters.
Stating that the entire gang involved in such brutal attacks will be identified and brought to justice, the chief advisor said, ‘The law enforcement agencies are actively working to arrest the criminals as soon as possible. Instructions have already been given for a full investigation after analyzing the incident from the ground up.’
