Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has called the 13th parliamentary election schedule a new chapter for Bangladeshi politics.
Mirza Fakhrul said, “The schedule has proven that Bangladesh has started its journey towards the desired democracy. For the transition to which our people have been fighting and risking their lives for more than a decade and a half.”
He also said, “We hope that all democracy-loving parties will participate in the next election. The vote will be held in a peaceful environment. And that the election will be neutral and acceptable.”
