BIMSTEC Secretary General Indra Mani Pandey welcomed Director General of South Asian Cooperative Environment Programme (SACEP) Norbu Wangchuk at the Secretariat.
The meeting discussed in detail the activities of the two organizations, future cooperation and possible synergies in the areas of environment, climate change, waste management and related sectors in South Asia.
Both sides are committed to advancing the goals of sustainable development and environmental conservation in South Asia by building a strong partnership between BIMSTEC and SACEP.
