EU Ambassador Michael Miller meets religious leaders to strengthen social harmony

The European Union (EU) Ambassador to Bangladesh, Michael Miller, has participated in a warm and constructive exchange of views with leaders and representatives of the country’s Christian community. The contribution of the Christian community to Bangladesh’s development progress, their experiences and current concerns were discussed spontaneously.

The meeting was held at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Dhaka. EU Ambassador Michael Miller thanked Archbishop D’Cruz for welcoming the EU delegation.

The prospects for future cooperation between the EU and Bangladesh on human rights, social harmony and inclusive development also came up for discussion.
