Jamaat Ameer calls on Kosovo government for medical training assistance

On Tuesday (November 25, 2025), the Honorable Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman met with the former Health Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Professor Dr. Rifat Latifi, who is visiting Dhaka, in a courtesy call at the Bashundhara office of the capital. The Ambassador of Kosovo to Bangladesh, Mr. Luljim Plana, was present at the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, Professor Dr. Rifat Latifi inquired about the health of the Ameer-e-Jamaat and wished him a speedy and full recovery. The entire discussion was held in a cordial and cordial atmosphere.

The discussion focused on the development of the health sector in Bangladesh. At this time, Ameer-e-Jamaat Dr. Shafiqur Rahman sought the cooperation of the Kosovo government in providing training and fellowship to Bangladeshi doctors and highlighted the possibilities of healthcare exchange and experience sharing.

Also present at the meeting were Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Central Executive Council Member Principal Muhammad Shahabuddin, National Doctors Forum (NDF) General Secretary Professor Dr. Mahmud Hossain, Senior Vice President Dr. AKM Wali Ullah, Office Secretary Dr. Ziaul Haque and Dhaka Metropolitan North NDF President Dr. SM Khaliduzzaman.
