The German Embassy in Dhaka organized the ‘Shoktikonna Green Skills Summit 2025’

The ‘Shoktikonna Green Skills Summit 2025’ was held in Dhaka to further strengthen women’s leadership in the green economy transformation of Bangladesh. More than 200 change-makers and experts participated in the summit, organized with the support of the German Embassy in Dhaka and the German Development Cooperation.

Speakers at the summit said that women’s skills and leadership are essential for the sustainable development and green transition of Bangladesh. “Green transformation is not possible without women, and green skills revolution is also impossible without Shaktikorn” – a message from the German Development Cooperation that was particularly echoed at the summit.

Participants in the event participated in various discussions and workshops on renewable energy, climate-resilient technologies, environmentally friendly entrepreneurship initiatives and women’s opportunities in creating green jobs.
