An interactive interaction was held with British-Bangladeshi councillors serving in various cities across the UK at the initiative of the Bangladesh High Commission, London.
Bangladesh High Commissioner Abida Islam was present as the chief guest at the meeting. She sincerely appreciated the important contribution of British-Bangladeshis in the politics, society and economy of the UK.
She highlighted various aspects of the long-standing friendly relations, cultural ties and bilateral cooperation between Bangladesh and the UK. She also called on the British-Bangladeshi councillors to play a leading role in further strengthening the understanding and connection between the people of both countries.
