Canadian High Commissioner Meets NCP Leaders to Discuss Democratic Progress in Bangladesh

The High Commission of Canada in Bangladesh reaffirmed its support for free, fair, inclusive, and participatory elections in the country.

On Thursday, 6 November 2025, Canadian High Commissioner Ajit Singh held a meeting with the leadership of the National Citizen Party (NCP). During the discussion, both sides exchanged views on the ongoing progress toward a peaceful and inclusive democratic transition in Bangladesh.
