NCP preparing to field candidates for 300 seats in next election: Sarjis Alam

The National Citizen Party (NCP) is preparing to field candidates for all 300 seats in the upcoming national election. Sarjis Alam, the party’s chief organizer for the northern region, said that strong efforts are being made to organize the party from the grassroots.

He made these remarks at a press conference after an interview with the four district conveners and member secretaries of the NCP organized at a community center in Mymensingh city on Monday (November 3, 2025) evening.

He said, “If we can form a convening committee of the organization in each ward by December, then we will be able to field strong candidates for 300 seats. The work of forming the committee is already progressing rapidly.”

NCP Senior Joint Member Secretary Nahida Sarwar Nibha, Divisional Organizing Secretary Ashiqin Alam, among others, were also present at the press conference.
