Singapore’s Non-Resident High Commissioner holds courtesy call on BGMEA President

Singapore’s Non-Resident High Commissioner Derek Low U-say paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) President Mahmud Hasan Khan.

The meeting, held at the BGMEA office in Uttara, Dhaka on Wednesday (September 17, 2025), discussed various strategic issues including bilateral trade, investment, logistics, and port management and logistics development.

The meeting also exchanged views on labor issues in the garment industry, US tariffs, and various contemporary issues in the industry.

BGMEA Director Rumana Rashid was also present at the time.
