Speaking as the special guest at the inaugural ceremony of the 12th Asia Tourism Fair to be held in Dhaka, Nepali Ambassador Mr. Ghanshyam Bhandari highlighted the resilience of Nepal’s tourism sector. He said that Nepal’s tourism industry has always recovered quickly despite various adversities.

Ambassador Bhandari emphasized on the growing tourism cooperation and strengthening people-to-people exchanges between Nepal and Bangladesh. He said that such mutual connections will further advance the economic and cultural relations between the two countries.

Nepal is participating in this year’s Asia Tourism Fair as a ‘Prime Partner Country’. A 16-member delegation led by the Nepal Tourism Board is participating in the fair, which includes representatives from Nepal’s tour operators, travel agencies and hotel sectors.
It is worth noting that the Asia Tourism Fair is being held at the capital’s International Convention City Bashundhara from 18-20 September 2025.
