On Thursday (11 September 2025), an important bilateral MoU was signed between LabAid Group, LabAid Cancer Hospital and Super Specialty Center and Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Force at the Ops Conference Room of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Force Headquarters.
Brigadier General Fida Mahmud, AFWC, psc, Additional Director General of the force was present as the chief guest. Mr. Sakif Shamim, Deputy Managing Director, was present on behalf of LabAid Group. Senior officials of both the organizations were also present at the event.
Through this agreement, members of all levels of the force will be able to receive healthcare services at special discounts from all branches of LabAid Group for themselves, their spouses, children and parents. Members of the force can enjoy this facility by showing the identity card issued by the force or a certificate from the appropriate authority.
The agreement includes-
- 20% discount on pathology and biochemistry tests at all branches and diagnostic centers of LabAid Group.
- 10% special discount on CT scan, MRI, ECG, Ultra-sonogram, Echo and ETT tests.
- Daily discount from 400 to 1800 taka on IPD bed charge and bed category.
As a result of this agreement, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Force members and their families will get the opportunity to receive modern, advanced and quality medical services. This will be considered a groundbreaking step in ensuring their welfare and good health.
