The EBFCI delegation paid a courtesy call with the Foreign Adviser Md. Touhid Hossain

A 25-memebr delegation of the Europe Bangladesh Federation of Commerce & Industry (EBFCI) led by its President Dr Wali Tasar Uddin MBE met with Hon’ble Foreign Adviser Mr. Md. Touhid Hossain Tuesday (01 October, 2024) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka.

The Hon’ble Adviser and the delegates exchanged views on the government’s priorities of reforming the country to a new Bangladesh with the spirit and reflection of Bangladeshi youth, and diaspora. The conversation highlighted Bangladesh’s trade and investment ecosystem, technology transfer and innovation, policy and advocacy, and tourism and branding.

The Hon’ble Foreign Affairs Adviser invited European businesses to explore the trade, investment and technology transfer potential while also assuring to address the challenges. He called for a new era of partnership between the private sectors of Bangladesh and Europe.

The EBFCI delegation is presently visiting Bangladesh to strengthen business ties with Bangladesh. The group consists of professionals and experts from the UK and other European countries with a diversified background including healthcare, education, technology, travel & tourism, manufacturing, and business consulting.
