14th meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Skill Development Authority (NSDA) held

The 14th meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Skill Development Authority (NSDA) was held on Wednesday (November 5, 2025) at the office of the Chief Advisor under the chairmanship of Mr. M. Siraj Uddin Mia, Principal Secretary to the Chief Advisor and Chairman of the Executive Committee.

Important policy discussions were held in the meeting on strategic direction and coordination of skill development activities at the national level, funding of training, improvement of quality of certification, achieving international recognition and expanding foreign employment opportunities.

In the meeting, NSDA Executive Chairman (Secretary) and Member Secretary of the Executive Committee, Dr. Nazneen Kausar Chowdhury presented the ongoing activities of the National Skill Development Authority, its implementation progress and future work.

In addition, the members of the executive committee provided constructive opinions on various policies and action plans, including eliminating duality in skill training, election of representatives to the Industrial Skills Council (ISC), and involvement of Qawmi Madrasa students in skill development activities.

Secretaries, heads of departments and organizations of various ministries were present at the meeting.
