‘Zulcan Beatdown’ completed at Zulcan Indoor Arena

The extremely popular tournament “Zulcan Beatdown” has reached an exciting milestone in the history of amateur combat sports in Bangladesh.

The event was completed on Saturday (June 13, 2026) at the Zulcan Indoor Arena in Dhaka amidst a huge crowd and great excitement.

In this tournament, which started at exactly 2:30 pm, a group of talented young athletes entered the ring for the first time to prove their skills in the cage of boxing, mixed martial arts (MMA) and kickboxing.

The event was packed with 18 high-voltage fights and the excitement of the audience. This special competition was organized with the aim of providing a proper and international standard platform to domestic combat sports talents. The entire tournament featured 18 thrilling bouts between male and female competitors in various weight classes.

Thousands of spectators witnessed the aggressive fighting, perfect tactics and indomitable courage of the players. This fierce fight inside the cage presented a bright picture of the future potential of the country’s martial arts.

It was held at the new hub of combat sports, “Zulkan Indoor Arena”. This event once again proved the rapid development of combat sports culture in Bangladesh. Sports lovers, spectators and trainers highly appreciated the players’ extraordinary stamina and professional behavior inside the cage.

Through this event, Zulkan Indoor Arena has established itself as the main center for producing world-class martial arts champions of the future. The importance of amateur fights will be immense in producing future champions. People related to sports in the country have expressed great optimism about the event.

In this regard, Bashundhara Sports City Head of Operations Masudur Rahman Manna said: “If we want to have professional fighters in the future, we have to give the most encouragement to amateur fights. Today’s special event is to encourage amateur fights by bringing together almost all combat gyms in Bangladesh.”

The organizers hope that the fighters who emerge from this platform will one day proudly raise the red-green flag of Bangladesh in the international arena.
