Victory in DUCSU and JACSU elections will have an impact on the next national election: Dr. Shafiqur Rahman

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said that the victory of Islami Chhatra Shibir in DUCSU and JACSU elections was possible with the special grace of Allah and this victory will be encouraging for the next national election as well. He called on everyone to provide all kinds of support, including financial sacrifices, to win the next national election.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the session of the Central Women’s Divisional Majlis-e-Shura held at the Al-Falah Auditorium in the capital’s Moghbazar on Saturday (September 20, 2025). He said, “We have got a new Bangladesh in exchange for the movement and sacrifices of July-August 2024. Many people lost their lives and limbs. Allah has given us a great victory in exchange for the sacrifices and sacrifices of all of us.”

In the session held under the chairmanship of Central Women’s Divisional Secretary Muhtarama Nurunnisa Siddiqa, the organization’s Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Parwar presented a speech on ‘Political Situation and National Election 2026’. Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim recited Darsul Quran. In addition, Maulana ATM Masum, members of the Central Women’s Divisional Working Committee, and elected Shura members from all over the country were present in the session. Various organizational issues including the presentation of the six-monthly report were discussed in the session.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman thanked Allah for getting the opportunity to speak today after being ill for a long time. He said that both illness and health are blessings of Allah and we have to express our gratitude to Allah. He remembered those killed and injured during the past fascist regime and prayed for the health of everyone.

The Ameer-e-Jamaat also said that Allah tests people through various tests. Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) was awarded a great reward after passing the test of sacrificing his beloved son at the behest of Allah. Following the essence of this sacrifice and sacrifice, we should also come forward to serve the people by fulfilling our responsibilities.

He advised all the leaders and activists to remain humble, not be arrogant in expressing their achievements and seek help from Allah.
