United Arab Emirates Ambassador to Bangladesh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Khasif Al Hamoudi paid a courtesy call on Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury at the Secretariat.
The meeting, held at the Minister’s office at the Secretariat, discussed various issues of mutual interest between the two countries. In particular, they exchanged views on new prospects for trade, investment, economic cooperation and development partnership.
In the meeting, both sides emphasized the need to further strengthen the existing friendly relations between Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates. In addition, discussions were held on exploring new areas of cooperation in sectors of mutual interest.
Positive views were expressed on increasing trade and investment, infrastructure development, financial cooperation and the prospects for future partnership between the two countries.
