Two Bangladeshi technology companies have won awards in two categories at the ‘ASSOCIO Digital Summit 2025’ organized by the Asian-Oceania Computing Industry Organization (ASSOCIO), an organization of IT trade associations in Asia and Oceania.
RiseUp Labs won the ASSOCIO Talent Development Award category and Pridesys IT Limited won the ASSOCIO Outstanding Digital Transformation Organization Award category.
The three-day ‘ASSOCIO Digital Summit 2025’ began in Taipei, Taiwan’s capital, on Monday (November 10). The summit will continue until November 12 at the Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel in the city.
On the second day of the conference, on Tuesday (November 11, 2025), ASSOCIO Chairman Dr. Brian Sin and Abdullah H. Kafi, Honorary Chairman of the Association and Chairman of the Award Committee. Senior officials and other officials of the award-winning institutions were also present at the event. A 4-member delegation from BCS participated in the conference.
Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) has been leading the IT sector in this region as the only country representative. BCS nominates projects that have made special contributions to IT every year to the Association.
This award ceremony, organized by the prestigious Association of Asia-Oceania IT sector, was held in 11 categories. This time, representatives of the IT sector from 24 member countries of the Association participated in it and achieved recognition for the technological excellence of their respective countries. Every year, this award honors the best institutions in the ICT sector in the Asian-Oceania region, which is considered one of the most prestigious recognitions.
