Tourist Police Dhaka Region January Monthly Welfare Meeting Held

On Wednesday (January 7, 2026), the Tourist Police Dhaka Region January/2026 Monthly Welfare Meeting was held. The meeting was presided over by the Honorable Superintendent of Police of Tourist Police Dhaka Region, Mr. Nihad Adnan Tayan.

All officers and forces, including those in charge of all zones under Dhaka Region, participated in this meeting organized virtually. The meeting discussed in detail the overall welfare of duty members, maintaining discipline, improving the quality of professional duties, and ensuring safe and quality services for tourists.

The officers and forces participating in the meeting shared their experiences and opinions from their respective workplaces and made various proposals to make tourist services more effective and dynamic.

In his speech as the chairman, Superintendent of Police Mr. Nihad Adnan Tayan urged all members to perform their duties with responsibility, professionalism, and a humane approach. He also emphasized the need for officers and forces of all zones to take care of their physical and mental health.

The meeting took important decisions and directions to further accelerate and make effective the ongoing activities of the Tourist Police to ensure the safety of tourists and provide quality services.
