This trial was fair and impartial: Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General

After the International Crimes Tribunal sentenced ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal to death in a case of crimes against humanity for the July-August genocide, the party’s Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar expressed satisfaction with the verdict. He described the verdict as fair and impartial.

Mia Golam Parwar said, “This trial has been fair.” He added that the trial was fair and impartial and the entire world saw the verdict of the tribunal live.

With this comment, he emphasized the acceptability of the current trial process.
