The third round of formal talks on tariff issues between Bangladesh and the US has begun. The talks began in Washington on Tuesday (July 29, US local time) at 2 pm. Earlier, an informal preliminary meeting was held at 12:30 pm.
The Bangladesh delegation arrived in the US capital, Washington, on Wednesday (July 30) morning. The delegation, led by Trade Advisor Sheikh Bashiruddin, includes National Security Advisor to the Principal Advisor and High Representative for Rohingya Affairs Dr. Khalilur Rahman, Commerce Secretary Mahbubur Rahman and Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce Dr. Nazneen Kawsar Chowdhury.
