Terming the verdict in the Ramisa murder case as a historical milestone in the history of the country’s judicial system and police investigation activities, the minister said, “The charge sheet has been submitted to the court after completing the DNA test and autopsy in a very short time. Even the court judges and concerned officials and employees have canceled their Eid leave (judicial leave) and completed the judicial activities of the case. This is a unique example of state and social responsibility.”

He said that the Bangladesh Police has shown great commendable professionalism and professionalism in the speedy completion of investigations into several complex cases, including the recent sensational Ramisa rape and brutal murder, and the arrest of the accused.

The Home Minister expressed hope that if the next stages of the judicial process are also completed quickly, the people of the country will have more confidence in the establishment of justice and it will serve as a strong message to the criminals.

He said that the government is following a ‘zero tolerance’ policy against heinous crimes like violence against women and children and will continue to take a strict stance in suppressing such crimes in the future.
