State Minister for Health Dr. M. A. Muhith has ordered to quickly complete the preparation of 40 ICU beds at the National Chest Disease Institute and Hospital located in Mohakhali in the capital. Where there will be free ICU service for poor patients. At the same time, the State Minister for Health has given necessary directions to launch the service soon to ensure improved and affordable treatment for the common man.
He inspected the newly built 40 ICU bed preparation activities at the hospital’s specialized asthma center after the World Tuberculosis Day discussion meeting on Sunday (March 29, 2026).
The State Minister inspected the floors that have been abandoned in the hospital for several years. During the inspection, the State Minister told the concerned that this unit should be launched as soon as possible so that the common man can get ICU services at low cost and at affordable prices. Our goal is to provide improved medical services to every citizen.
After the inspection, the State Minister gave necessary directions to improve the overall environment and medical facilities of the hospital.
