Russian House in Dhaka Holds Seminar on Russian-Bangladeshi Tourism Cooperation Development.

On Tuesday (June 24, 2025) the Russian House in Dhaka hosted a seminar titled “Russian-Bangladeshi Tourism Cooperation: Prospects and Challenges” organized in collaboration with the Bangladeshi tourism magazine “Vromon.” The event aimed to expand tourism opportunities and introduce attendees to Russia’s tourism potential and cultural heritage.

During the seminar, experts discussed possibilities for bilateral tourism. Participants highlighted the need for more active promotion of  Bangladesh’s tourism offerings in Russian media, as the country remains relatively unknown to the broader Russian audience. At the same time, Bangladeshi tour operators were encouraged to more actively promote Russia as an attractive travel destination.

Speakers thanked the Russian House in Dhaka for organizing the event and expressed hope for similar initiatives in the future. Following the discussion, guests had the opportunity to view a photo exhibition showcasing Russia’s natural beauty, which demonstrated the diversity and uniqueness of the country’s landscapes.

As part of the event, the film “Peterhof” from the series “Russia: An Inside Look” by RT Documentary was screened, allowing viewers to take a virtual journey through one of the country’s most picturesque locations.
