A courtesy call was made on Honorable Prime Minister Tarique Rahman by Director General (DG) of Russian State Atomic Energy Organization Rosatom, Alexey Likhachev.
The meeting was held at 10 am today, Tuesday (April 28, 2026) at the Prime Minister’s Office, Cabinet Division, Bangladesh Secretariat.
Both sides expressed optimism to further strengthen the existing friendly relations between Bangladesh and Russia. In addition, importance was also laid on the role of nuclear energy in the country’s energy security and sustainable development.
