Bangladesh National Parliament Deputy Speaker Barrister Kaiser Kamal MP said that students should be inspired by morality, patriotism and human values. At the same time, families, educational institutions and society should work together to build a drug-free and ideal generation.
He said these things during a meeting with students, teachers and guardians during his visit to Don Bosco School Dhaka in the capital on Wednesday (June 24, 2026). During this time, he toured the school’s infrastructure and enjoyed the cultural programs presented by the students.

The Deputy Speaker said, “Education is the backbone of the nation. To create the leaders of the future, students should not only be educated based on textbooks, but also be enriched with morality, patriotism and human qualities.” He urged the students to study attentively and develop themselves as worthy citizens.

Noting that students of different religions are studying together at Don Bosco School, he said that this is a unique example of harmony, tolerance and cultural diversity. Addressing the teachers, he said that there should be no scope for any kind of discrimination in educational institutions. He also emphasized on involving children in Bangladeshi culture, sports and various co-curricular activities.

Highlighting the need for a coordinated initiative of families, educational institutions and society to keep children and adolescents safe from drug addiction, the Deputy Speaker assured the necessary cooperation from the government for the development of the school.
After the inspection, he participated in a photo session with teachers, students and concerned parties and gave autographs to the students.
At that time, representatives of various print and electronic media including school authorities, guardian representatives, concerned officials of the Parliament Secretariat were present.
