Qatar’s Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani Inaugurates Doha Forum 2025

The 23rd edition of the Doha Forum 2025 commenced on Saturday, 6 December 2025, under the theme “Justice in Action: Beyond Promises to Progress.” The Forum was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar.

The event brought together heads of state and government, ministers, leaders of international organizations, NGO representatives, renowned academics, and journalists from around the world. The inaugural session also featured a keynote speech by H.E. Bill Gates, Chair of the Gates Foundation.

Representing the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), its Director-General, Mr. Rasul Omarov, attended the Forum. Discussions at the event focused on youth leadership, justice, and social progress on an international level.

ICYF’s participation in the Doha Forum is expected to play a significant role in promoting various initiatives and collaborations for the youth of Muslim countries.
