On the occasion of the 45th martyrdom anniversary of the great freedom fighter, one of the sector commanders of the Liberation War, founder of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and former President, Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Bir Uttam, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman paid tribute to him and paid tribute to him.
On Saturday (30 May 2026) morning, he paid tribute by placing a wreath at the tomb of martyred President Ziaur Rahman located in Zia Udyan in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital.
