Prime Minister Tarique Rahman meets family of Ramisa, who was killed in Pallabi

Desk Report:

Tareque Rahman met the family of Ramisa, who was brutally murdered in Pallabi in the capital. On Thursday (May 21, 2026) night, he went to Pallabi’s house to inquire about the bereaved family members and expressed his deep condolences to them.

At that time, the Prime Minister spoke to Ramisa’s parents. Ramisa’s parents, who were in grief, broke down in tears upon seeing the Prime Minister near them. Comforting them, the Prime Minister said that the government is giving utmost importance to ensuring justice in this incident. He also assured Ramisa’s family of being by their side and providing necessary assistance.

Salahuddin Ahmed was present during the meeting. He assured Ramisa’s family that the charge sheet of the case will be filed soon and the government is working sincerely to ensure speedy justice.

Also present at the time were Md. Asaduzzaman, Aminul Haque, Prime Minister’s Defense Advisor AKM Shamsul Islam and Shafiqul Alam Milton.
