Prime Minister Tarique Rahman arrived in Cox’s Bazar this Saturday (June 13, 2026) morning. He landed at Cox’s Bazar Airport at 9:53 am. Earlier, he left for Cox’s Bazar from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 9 am.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by his wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman.
Upon her arrival at Cox’s Bazar Airport, the Prime Minister was warmly welcomed by the ministers and state ministers in charge of various ministries of the government. Among those who welcomed her were Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed, State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism M. Rashiduzzaman Millat, State Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs and Land Mir Md. Helal Uddin, State Minister for Jute and Textiles Shariful Alam and Cox’s Bazar Deputy Commissioner Md. Abdul Mannan and other senior officials of the local administration.
