Prakriti and Jibon Foundation launches 25,000 tree planting program in Gazipur

A 25,000 tree planting program has been launched to transform the industrial city of Gazipur into a green industrial city. The program officially started from the Konabari branch of Gazipur Shaheen Cadet Academy.

The program was presided over by the Honorable Chairman of Prakriti and Jibon Foundation, Mr. Mukit Majumder Babu, Vice Chairman of Impress Group and Channel i. Honorable Commissioner of Gazipur Metropolitan Police Dr. Nazmul Karim Khan was present as the chief guest. He appreciated this great initiative of planting trees in different places of the district and pledged to continue his utmost efforts to ensure the security of the metropolitan area.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Gazipur district, Deputy Police Commissioner, Director of the organization Sohel Chowdhury, coordinator of the program journalist Fazlul Haque Morol, industrial entrepreneurs and academicians were present at the time.

At the event, renowned industrial entrepreneur and business leader and Director of DBC News, Mr. Salauddin Chowdhury, was elected as the President of the Gazipur District Advisory Board of Prakriti and Jibon Foundation.
