People are voting spontaneously: Information Advisor

Information and Broadcasting, Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Water Resources Advisor Syeda Rizwana Hasan said that the country has reached the polling day today, leaving behind all the challenges, useless debates and campaigns. People are exercising their right to vote spontaneously.

She said this while talking to reporters after voting at the Ideal School and College center on Central Road in Dhanmondi in the capital on Thursday (February 12, 2026).

The advisor said, “Look at the mood of the vote here and the presence of voters. People have truly been empowered. They are exercising their right to vote with joy. Everyone is voting in an orderly manner.”

She also said, “Let’s celebrate this. Let’s celebrate this election, this effort of the government.”

Syeda Rizwana Hassan expressed satisfaction with the overall atmosphere of the voting and expressed hope that the peaceful and participatory election process would continue.
