Pakistani textile delegation meets with BIDA to discuss investment opportunities in Bangladesh

A high-level textile delegation from Pakistan met with officials of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) in an important meeting. The meeting was held at BIDA Conference Room in Agargaon, Dhaka on Wednesday (April 30, 2025).

The meeting was presided over by Mr. Chowdhury Ashiq Mahmud Bin Harun, Executive Chairman (State Minister) of BIDA and Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA).

In the meeting, both sides discussed in detail the potential investment opportunities in the textile and ready-made garment (RMG) sector. In addition, the government’s facilities, policies and infrastructure facilities provided for foreign investors in Bangladesh were also discussed.
