Pakistan and Bangladesh pledge to strengthen bilateral relations

On the sidelines of the Extraordinary Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, met with Bangladesh’s Advisor for Foreign Affairs, Md Touhid Hossain, in a cordial and constructive discussion.

The meeting took place in a friendly environment, reflecting the fraternal sentiments shared by both nations. Both dignitaries expressed satisfaction with the growing trajectory of bilateral relations and agreed to enhance cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.

During the discussion, they highlighted the historical, religious, and cultural ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration, particularly in trade, people-to-people exchanges, and cultural cooperation. They also underscored the need to explore further opportunities to deepen bilateral relations.
