Honorable Opposition Leader and Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman visited various SSC, Dakhil and equivalent examination centers on Thursday (April 23, 2026) morning.
During the visit, he visited Mirpur-10 Adarsh High School, Kazipara Siddique Fazil Madrasa and Shaheed Police Memorial College centers in the capital. During this time, he inquired about the overall condition of the examinees and prayed for their well-being and success.
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman spoke to the center secretaries and emphasized the importance of maintaining a fair and peaceful environment for the examination. He also urged the concerned authorities to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the examination period.
Local leaders including member of the party’s Central Executive Council and Ameer of Dhaka Metropolitan North Jamaat Mohammad Selim Uddin were present with him during the visit.
He also inspected the temporary shelters set up outside the center for parents and the provision of drinking water for those thirsty in the intense heat. During this time, he spoke to the parents and listened to their concerns.
The parents thanked the concerned for taking such initiatives and urged them to maintain such a supportive environment during the examination.
