An officer of the rank of Additional Police Commissioner (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has been posted.

The posting was made in an order signed by DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md. Sajjat Ali, ndc on Wednesday (27 August 2025).

The name of the newly posted officer is Md. Shafiqul Islam BPM, PPM.

He is a member of the 18th BCS batch. Earlier, he was working in Highway Police as DIG.
