Monno Ceramic Vice Chairman Moynul Islam has been elected as the president of the Bangladesh Ceramic Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BCMEA) for the 2025-2026 term.
Md Mamunur Rashid has been elected senior vice president, while Irfan Uddin will serve as general secretary.
On Monday (3 March 2025) Election Commission Chairman Mohammad Helal Uddin announced the names of the 12 newly elected board members. Election Commission members Morshed Alam and Imran Ahmed were also present during the announcement, according to a press release issued on Tuesday.
The newly-elected members include Senior Vice President Abdul Hakim Sumon and vice presidents Ruslan Nasir, Ayesha Sanaa Asif Tabani, Rasheed Mymunul Islam, and Md Asif Iqbal Mahmud.
Additionally, the elected directors are Farian Yusuf, Sifat E Arman, Hamzah Saquif Tabani, and Md Ashrafuzzaman.
