After the election of a new president in the United States, the traditional ‘National Prayer Breakfast’ is held where important political, diplomatic, business and cultural figures from different countries are invited. This time, Bangladesh Nationalist Party-BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, National Standing Committee Member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and BNP Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman’s representative Barrister Zaima Rahman have been invited to join US President Donald Trump’s ‘National Prayer Breakfast’.
The event began at 7 am on Thursday (February 6) at the White House, the residence of the US President in the capital Washington, DC, and lasted for 7 hours.
US presidents organize breakfasts and dinners in honor of important people from around the world within 100 days of taking office. In addition to President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance, the event was attended by senators and members of Congress, as well as invited world leaders and business and professional figures.
