Ministry of Commerce formed FBCCI Election board

The Ministry of Commerce has formed the election board and the election appeal board for the election of the executive council of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), the country’s top trade organization, for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 terms.

Additional Secretary (IIT) of the Ministry of Commerce Md. Abdur Razzak has been appointed as the chairman of the FBCCI election board. The other two members of the board are Joint Secretary (IIT-2 Branch) Ms. Mursheda Zaman and Joint Secretary (WTO-3 Branch) Mustafizur Rahman.

Dr. Md. Razzakul Islam

On the other hand, Additional Secretary (Export) Md. Abdur Rahim Khan has been appointed as the chairman of the election appeal board. The other two members are Joint Secretary (Administration-2 Branch) Tanvir Ahmed and Deputy Secretary (Export-4 Branch) Dr. Md. Razzakul Islam.
