Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Bangladesh Army and Turkish Airlines

As part of the enhancement of mutual cooperation between the two friendly countries of Bangladesh and Turkey, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Bangladesh Army and Turkish Airlines on Thursday (07 August 2025). Under this agreement, serving and retired members of the Bangladesh Army will now be able to travel to various destinations around the world through Turkish Airlines for various official and personal purposes at relatively affordable prices.

Through this agreement, on the one hand, the travel expenses of the army members will be reduced to a large extent, and also the government’s money will be saved. In addition, serving and retired army members will be able to receive the benefits of the international standard Star Alliance at affordable prices. As a result, it will play a helpful role in increasing operational capabilities while performing duties abroad, as well as in traveling for personal needs.
