Jamaat-e-Islami delegation meets investors participating in Bangladesh Investment Summit-2025

A Jamaat delegation led by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Parwar met with foreign and domestic investors participating in the Bangladesh Investment Summit-2025 held in Dhaka on Wednesday (April 9, 2025). The Jamaat delegation included Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Industries and Business Department Vice President Md. Anwarul Islam Raju, Secretary Dr. Anwarul Azim and Member Md. Masud Kabir.

After exchanging greetings, they had a very open discussion and exchange of views on various problems and solutions, including the foreign investment environment in Bangladesh. On this day, investors from various countries including China, Britain, Canada and the Netherlands spoke to the representatives of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and expressed their various concerns. At this time, Jamaat Secretary General Professor Mia Golam Parwar said that all-round support will be provided to investors on behalf of Jamaat-e-Islami. He urged foreign investors to invest in Bangladesh.

Professor Golam Parwar also said that if we can bring foreign investors into the new journey of Bangladesh and create an investment-friendly environment, everyone’s sacrifices and dreams will be fulfilled. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami will provide all-round support by formulating economic and business policies to implement the dreams of good governance, honesty, integrity and young entrepreneurs. If the people of the country give state power to Jamaat-e-Islami through votes in the future, then we will gift the country an investment-friendly economy free of corruption and discrimination, InshaAllah.

He said that Bangladesh has a beautiful environment for investment. There are opportunities to use nature, ports, rivers and harbors. At this time, investors said that if these are modernized and if they can reach zero waste, it is possible to revolutionize investment in Bangladesh.

Foreign investors have expressed interest in investing in renewable energy, infrastructure development, textiles, agriculture, chemicals, education and medical sectors. A high-ranking official of the China Chamber of Commerce visited the stall of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.
