Jamaat Ameer pays courtesy call on Chief Adviser at Armed Forces Day function

On Friday (November 21, 2025) afternoon, Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus exchanged courtesy calls with Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman at a formal reception organized on the occasion of Armed Forces Day at Senakunj in the capital.

High-level representatives of various organs of the state, diplomats, military-civilian officials and dignitaries were present at the function. At this time, the cordial atmosphere of the state function was further enriched through brief greetings and discussions between the Chief Adviser and the Jamaat Ameer.

The Armed Forces Day function was organized to honor, commemorate and pay deep respect to the contribution of the armed forces to the independence and sovereignty of the country.
