Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Managing Director of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLCachieved the ‘Lifetime Excellence in Islamic Banking Leadership Award’ at the ‘Global NRB Awards-2025’.
NRB World presented him with this award in recognition of his outstanding contribution and dynamic leadership in the Islamic banking sector. He received the award from Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur at a ceremony organized at Hotel Sheraton in the capital on the occasion of International Expatriates Day on Tuesday (December 30, 2025).
Enamul Haque Enam, founder of NRB World along with expatriate entrepreneurs, industrialists, businessmen, doctors, engineers, scientists, teachersand IT professionals from about 25 countries participated in the event.
