Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC inaugurated Modhubag sub-branch under Mouchak Branch in Dhaka on December 19, 2024,Thursday. Mohammed Monirul Moula, managing director of the bank inaugurated the sub-branch as the chief guest.
Mahmudur Rahman, deputy managing director & head of Dhaka Central Zone presided over the program while Mawlana Sadiqur Rahman Azhariaddressed the program as special guest. Dr. Md. Ashraf Ali, executive vice president & head of Mouchak Branch delivered the welcome speech and Mohammad Anwarul Kabir, in-charge of Modhubag sub-branch thanked the audience.

Mohammed Monirul Moula in his speech as chief guest said that on it’s 42 years journey, Islami Bank has been able to outreached shari’ah based banking services to the remote areas of the country. Presently, 2.45 million customers maintain accounts with Islami Bank. Alongside providing financial services, Islami Bank has gained positive recognition among the mass people by conducting human welfare and social development activities.
He also said that all services of Islami Bank branches are available in sub-branches as well. He advised upon all concerned to provide quality and standard banking services of Islami Bank considering the requirements and importance of the people of Modhubag area.
