A meeting of the Board of Directors of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC was held on Monday, June 1, 2026, on a virtual platform. The Chairman of the Bank, Md. Khurshid Alam, presided over the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Executive Committee Chairman Mohammad Khurshid Wahab, Audit Committee Chairman Md. Abdus Salam, FCA, FCS, Risk Management Committee Chairman S. M. Abdul Hamid, FCA, Independent Director Professor Dr. M Masud Rahman.
The resignation of Managing Director Md. Omar Faruk Khan was accepted in the meeting. At the same time, Md. Altaf Hussain was given the responsibility of Acting Managing Director.
