ILO-JICA exchange views on sustainable livelihood development in Cox’s Bazar

The International Labour Organization (ILO) welcomed a delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to its Cox’s Bazar project office.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the potential for sustainable alternative livelihood development for the coastal communities of Cox’s Bazar. Both organizations believe that this collaboration will not only improve the quality of life of the local people, but also play an important role in building inclusive economic growth and disaster resilience.
