Home Affairs and Agriculture Advisor Lieutenant General Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (Retd.) has expressed deep grief over the untimely death of Sharif Osman Hadi, a fearless fighter at the forefront of the July Uprising and spokesperson of the ‘Inqilab Mancha’.
In a condolence message today (December 19, 2025), the advisor prayed for the forgiveness of the departed soul and expressed deep condolences to his bereaved family members.
In a condolence message today, the advisor said that Sharif Osman Hadi was a fearless fighter, fearless voice and courageous organizer of the July Uprising. His uncompromising stance against injustice, exploitation, torture and oppression was a source of endless inspiration to the oppressed and democracy-loving people. He was the supreme inspiration of infinite courage, heroism, patriotism and self-sacrifice born in the minds of millions of people. His role in contemporary political and social movements will make him immortal and memorable. The untimely demise of Sharif Osman Hadi is an irreparable loss for the country which will not be easily filled. His words of heroism, courage and patriotism will inspire and encourage this nation for ages.
It is to be noted that Sharif Osman Hadi, a frontline fighter of the July Uprising, breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Singapore yesterday (December 18) at approximately 09:45 pm (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun).
