To make the joy of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr more meaningful, Honorable Home Affairs Advisor to the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Lieutenant General Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (Retd.) visited the headquarters of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force today, March 31, 2025. The advisor was accompanied by Special Assistant to the Honorable Chief Advisor, Md. Khoda Baksh Chowdhury. At this time, Director General of the force, Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud, SGP, BAM, NDU, AFWC, PSC and senior officers of the force were present. The Honorable Home Affairs Advisor was welcomed to the headquarters by giving a guard of honor. After that, he signed the inspection book of the headquarters. The Advisor exchanged Eid-ul-Fitr greetings with the officers and members of the force and inquired about their families.
The Honorable Home Affairs Advisor also praised the contribution of the Ansar Force members in maintaining law and order in the country and expressed gratitude for their sacrifice and dedication. During the visit, the Director General of the force briefed the Home Affairs Advisor about the recent activities and future plans of the Ansar Force. His visit will not only instill new enthusiasm and inspiration among the members of the force, but will also encourage them to perform their professional duties.
