Desk Report:
The ‘Super Sale Car Bazaar’ at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital has garnered significant interest from both buyers and sellers. It offers a unique platform where one can view a wide variety of new, used, and reconditioned vehicles from different brands, while also providing an opportunity for individuals to sell their own pre-owned cars. The number of visitors and buyers at this weekly market—held every Friday—continues to grow. In addition to cars, various models of motorcycles are also available at the event.
A visit to the ICCB Expo Village yesterday revealed many people arriving with their families to browse for vehicles. Some made immediate purchasing decisions upon finding a car they liked, while others collected contact information from sellers to compare different models and price points before making a final choice.
The ‘Super Sale Car Bazaar,’ which began on September 4, has now been running for eight weeks. Yesterday marked the ninth edition of this automotive marketplace at the ICCB.
According to the organizers, a key feature that distinguishes this event from conventional car markets is the ability to both purchase vehicles and sell personal, pre-owned cars in a single location. This allows prospective buyers to explore multiple options simultaneously, while also providing sellers with direct access to potential buyers for their existing vehicles.
A diverse range of brands and models is on display, with Toyota, Mitsubishi, and Nissan being the most prominent. The selection spans from older models—dating back to before the year 2000—to the latest 2026 models. Various motorcycle models are also available for purchase.
To further assist buyers, the event includes provisions for bank financing and auto loans. This ensures that customers can not only select a vehicle but also obtain the necessary information and support regarding financing, all in one place.
Commenting on the level of buyer interest, Mehedi Hasan, Brand and Marketing Manager at ICCB, told Bangladesh Pratidin that hundreds of people gather at the ‘Super Sale Car Bazaar’ every Friday. A wide variety of car models from different eras are available here—ranging from vehicles dating back to the year 2000 all the way to the latest 2026 models. Sellers are also satisfied with the event, and there is an expectation that it will become even more successful in the future.
Organized by Wizard Showbiz, with venue support from ICCB, the ‘Super Sale Car Bazar’ takes place every Friday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
In the midst of a busy urban lifestyle, the event is gradually gaining popularity among both buyers and sellers, as it offers a convenient space to view and purchase various types of cars, as well as to sell used vehicles.
